The Editor Answers Some Recent Comments

In the spirit which now seems to permeate my site, let me answer a few comments that have recently been made.

Let me begin:

“You know, this is really sick. It is amazing how Dimocrats will alaign them selves with people who spew the most vile hatred against women, gays, blacks, jews, etc. IF they will just say something against G.W.B., all is forgiven.”

-However, irony (i.e. Howard Stern) isn’t lost on everyone. Never, has this website taken a stance that is anti-free speech. The Democrats that I know and love will protect the Constitution with their dying breath. Give my regards to Herr Ashcroft for me.

“Of course I do, I’m not the one pulling the karma voting tabs off the board.”

-Removed because they were Freeped… Comments will remain.

“But tell me, would you be supporting Howard, if he didn’t speak out against President Bush? Did you support the Dixie Twits, and curse the name Toby Keith?
Are you putting the same effort in supporting Mel Gibson’s right of “free speech”?”

-Errrr yes. My policy is to support freedom of speech as long as I have breath. This includes DC’s TK and Mel. However, I won’t be personally supporting a 2 hour snuff film about the death of Christ. Nor, will I be buying any Toby Keith albums in the near future… the beauty of Capitalism.

“Earlier post I noted that the Dims were defending insider trading (Martha) and condeming illegal drug use (Rush). Tell me, how far would you go in support of someone who bashed Bush? If an Axe murderer spoke out, would you take up their cause? Trick question, the answer is…. Carla Faye Tucker”

-The difference is that Howard and Martha have done nothing wrong and are being hounded because of their political positions. The only articles or posts you will find concerning the Limbaugh case on THESYNDROME.COM are the occasional idiotic statment made by Rush. For the most part, I ignore him as should everyone else. If he is guilty, of course he should be punished. What he did might be a criminal act. We also didn’t stand up for Carla Faye. Apparently, she left an axe in someone. Contrary to repug perceptions, Democrats really are the Law and Order party. We merely put the Contitution first.
